| Leave a Legacy |
| The NVSS Board supports Leave a Legacy which is an educational program that encourages individuals to leave a portion of their estate (no matter the size) to a non-profit agency like Napa Valley Support Services. Gifts may be in the form of money, property (for example, real estate, vehicles), investments (for example, stocks, bonds, or CDs), or a portion of an estate.
About 50% of individuals who pass away have not prepared a will in advance. Attorneys (or paralegals) can help prepare a special needs trust for a son or a daughter with a disability. They can also help prepare language for a will that can provide a charitable gift to an agency such as ours.
