What We Do

Our Programs

Three distinct programs, one shared mission: to support individuals with developmental disabilities in building a full, self-directed life in the Napa community.

Employment

Job readiness, placement, and support to find and keep meaningful work.

Education

Learning pathways tailored to individual goals, interests, and abilities.

Skills Building

Practical life and social skills that support independence and connection.

At NVSS, we believe in a collaborative approach to solutions that breaks barriers and shapes a future where disability is not a limitation, but a unique part of human diversity that enriches our society. Throughout the Napa community, people utilize our services to explore their unique interests and achieve their personal goals, one person at a time.

At NVSS, we are community members, employees, students, artists, volunteers, family members, neighbors, coworkers, and friends. Together we make a difference.”

Each of our programs serves individuals with developmental disabilities in a distinct way. Each are rooted in the same belief that every person deserves the opportunity to live a full, self-directed life.

Imperial Way

Since 1956, Imperial Way has supported individuals with developmental disabilities to maximize their personal and vocational potential. 70% of participants work in the community.
