Assessments and Work Adjustments: offers the opportunity to try out different jobs and assess their skills, strengths and needs in order to find the best career match, and develops job skills in a safe, supported environment while learning and researching the expectations of employers.
Job Preparation: assists individuals to develop work related skills, e.g., interviewing skills, resume development & job seeking skills.
Job Club: a fun and supportive group meeting space that gives people a chance to talk about their job search.
Job Development and Placement: job developers negotiate job opportunities with employers in either group or individual placement to match the skills and needs of the person.
Job Coaching and maintenance: a job coach accompanies & trains the individual up to a 100% of the time worked and provides all additional employment related support. Active training fades when the person is ready, and the new focus becomes teaching the individual how to access information independently. Job coaching can occur on or off the job site. In the event further training is necessary, the employer or the employee may ask for more NPS support.
Job Crews: a jumping board to provide fully supported work opportunities to individuals who are entering the work force or are in need of ongoing support.
Tailored Day Services: provides one-on-one support for people who want to explore their vocational, volunteer, or continuing educational interests geared towards an employment outcome. Paid Internships, job exploration, education, and micro-enterprise development are among these service offerings
Student Services: offers vocational training skills and opportunities to students ages 18-22 enrolled in an educational institution. A variety of curriculums can be tailored to the student to assist with educational success and employment goals.
