About the program
Brown Street is a small, art-focused day program providing services for 30 individuals with developmental disabilities. Individuals have the ability to earn money through the sale of their creative expressions. We host Art Shows regularly with opening receptions at the gallery.
We provide support to increase individual abilities and skills to make use of community services and further extend independence.
What we offer
Artistic Expression
Studio time, creative development, and support to find and grow an individual artistic voice.
Earned Income
Artists earn real money through the sale of their work at gallery shows and exhibitions.
Independence skills
Support to access community services and extend independence beyond the program.
Art created here is sold here
Artists at Brown Street earn money through the sale of their creative work at regular public exhibitions and opening receptions. Every purchase directly supports an artist in the program.
